What kind of harm does sleep apnea cause?

Does sleep apnea affects your immune system, the digestive process, the cardiovascular system, or even cause paranoia?

Answer

Sleep apnea affects all aspects of your life, more or less. Only a person with severe sleep apnea knows how terrible can be to stop breathing for at least 30 seconds in his sleep. And not only once or twice, but it can be more than 200 times in eight hours of "sleep".

If that person have this problem in every night, for at least 3 years, I wonder why is he still alive...

I will be surprised, because a patient with severe sleep apnea has a lot of life threatening problems, such as:
As you can see, I only told you about severe symptoms of sleep apnea. However, it doesn't matter if you have only a very mild apnea. It will become a severe disorder, if you don't treat it now.

I never heard about digestive problems in patients with sleep apnea, but these problems may come indirectly.

Bottom line...sleep apnea affects not only your cardiovascular system, but all the vital organs of your body: brain, heart, liver.

The good news is that with treatment, and if you act soon, all these problems can disappear.

Good luck!
