Question: Custom fit full face CPAP mask

by Rob Rymer
(Yorks. England)

Where can I buy a custom fit full face CPAP mask please? I have tried 3 masks but struggle to get a seal I need to buy a custom fit mask, any ideas ?

If someone has a custom fit CPAP mask, I will also want to know. I never heard of a company who designs a custom mask for different patients with sleep apnea, although some brands have many different options.

However, this is a great ideea for a business, isn't it?

Some people with CPAP mask problems will try to modify their mask by adding or subtracting parts, and others just try every mask they can get, until they are satisfied.

If trial and error doesn't work for you, maybe adding "parts" to your mask can help you with the leaks.

For example, you can use moldable silicone between the mask and your face and that will stop most of the leaks. Well, it works for some people with CPAP full face masks, and there are cheap solutions as well.

For example, you can use Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs, which may work in your situation. You roll one between your palms to lengthen it and then mold it onto your face applying the mask to the molds.

You can also use RemZzzs CPAP Mask Liners for ResMed and Respironics full face masks alone or in combination with the silicone ear plugs.

The RemZzzs is famous for eliminating the leaks from CPAP masks, just be careful to use the product designed specifically for you full face mask brand.

I hope these products can assist you.

Good luck!

Remy
